Kyle's Sleepover!

Last week while Derek was out of town I invited my nephew Kyle to spend the night...actually I invited him over to play video games with me after Natalie went to bed which turned into a sleepover!  When Natalie saw Kyle walking toward the front door, she started stomping her feet with excitement.  He was her guy the rest of the night.  She gave him tons of hugs and brought him all of her favorite dolls and stuffed animals. She sat on the couch next to him, edging closer and closer, smiling and staring at him until she couldn't take it anymore...then she began to tickle and jump all over him!  I don't think Kyle knew what he was getting himself into!

After dinner , I brought out the chocolate dunkers for dessert.  I told Kyle the rules of the chocolate dunkers..."no double dipping, however dipping, flipping then dipping was okay" he probably thought I was crazy but after he tried one, he said that it was chocolaty goodness and he loved it!  He also started dancing around my kitchen...I think all the chocolate went to his brain!  Right after we cleaned up he said "Bekah, I'm ready for some serious gaming"!  So...we got Natalie ready for bed and Kyle read to her.  Derek and I read to her every night before bed but it was just so cute seeing Kyle read to her.  After Natalie went to bed, Kyle and I played Halo Reach for a while.  I have to say...Kyle rocks!  He was definitely a hit with Natalie and I had an awesome time as well!!  Derek wants to be home the next time Kyle sleeps over though...he was a little jealous that he missed all the serious gaming!  :)
